General Introduction
XY-6B core drill rig is mainly applicable for industries of geology, metallurgy, coal, hydrology, engineering and so on; the core drilling machines, predominated by diamond bit and tungsten-carbide bit drilling, are also applicable for engineering geological prospecting, exploitation of superficial-zone petroleum and natural gas, mine gallery ventilation and water discharge tunnel drilling as well as foundation pile drilling in large-diameter.

Main Features

1.   Possessing more number of speeds and rational range of ration speed, large low speed torque, which is not only applicable for drilling with alloy and diamond core, but also applicable for engineering geology investigation, hydrology water well drilling and construction of foundation pile works.
2.   With large diameter of spindle I.D. 118 mm(4.65 inch), hydraulic feed with double oil cylinders, long stroke up to 720mm(28.35 inch), strong process versatility, which is particularly applicable for drilling of wire line coring with large.
diameter drill rod (upper part coring). Thus it is more effective in improving drilling efficiency with less faulty in hole.
3.   With powerful drilling capacity, the rated drilling depth of wire line coring drill rod with the diameter of 71 mm(2.80 inch) can be up to 1750m(5740 feet).
4.   Light in weight, good removability, the net weight of drill(excluding power unit) is about 4700kg(10375 lb), and the host machine can be divided into 10 parts, the weight of maximal removable part is 500 kg(1103 lb). It is convenient for relocation and applicable for mountainous area operation.
5.   The hydraulic chuck adopts bidirectional oil supply and equipped with pilot controlled check valve; the chucking power is large and the chucking is stable.
6.   Equipped with water brake, it is stable and safe for deep hole drilling.
7.   Adopting single gear oil pump for oil supply, simple installation, convenient application, less power consumption, low oil temperature of hydraulic system, and stable operation. The system is equipped with hand oil pump, when the power unit fails to run, hand oil pump can be used to make the drilling tool in the hole pull off the bottom.
8.   Compact in construction, reasonable in layout, all the parts expose in the outside without inter-lapping, whch is convenient for maintenance and repair.
9.   Low centre of gravity, long moving distance can reach to 460 mm(18.11 inch), firm in fixation, and better stability of drilling with high speed.
10.  Equipped with shockproof instrument with long service life, which is convenient for mastering the conditions in the hole.Less operating handholds, flexible and reliable in control;
11.  Under high generalization rate, the rig is in universal parts and components up to 20% with XY-44 drill rig.
